I am once again participating in the Slice of Life Story Challenge for the month of March. This is the fourth year I have joined the community of writers over at Two Writing Teachers in taking up this challenge of writing for 31 consecutive days. I know it will be hard work but the growth will be immeasurable. Follow along!
Lake Man
He is out there all year long enjoying the natural beauty that the lake has to offer.
In the summer he is seen swimming laps along the shore watching the bass and blue gill wave by.
In the fall, he is pedaling his bicycle powered boat across the surface checking out the flight of the eagle.
In the winter he is snowshoeing along the frozen tundra tracking the snow prints left by various critters.
Today he kayaks among the remains of icebergs… just as I stood up to pull up my tights.
Yes he sees so many interesting sights!
Time to get dressed in the closet again.

I enjoyed the twist at the end. 🙂
I did not expect the twist! That woke me up! I think the closet is a good idea!
Lake views are too pretty to cover up with shades so closet bound is easier
There’s a “lake man” in every neighborhood!
So true!
Very fun! Love the twist and the pic!
What a great way to write about the seasons of the lake. You get readers to love it even more because it’s clear how much Lake Man does. Probably a good decision to let the kayaking picture go by.
