Little Ballerina: DAY 23/30 #NationalPoetryMonth

I was wanting to write a limerick and as I was watching my granddaughter dancing in her little outfit these words quickly made their way on paper. In my intent to make this limerick funny, which most limericks are, I added little bragging line at the end. And on a funny side note, when I read the poem back to my family my granddaughter pointed out “Bebe (grandma) my tutu is purple not pink!” She wasn’t that interested in knowing that pink fit rhythmically better than purple.
