For the month of November I am writing a daily haiku focused on gratitude, #gratiku. Today I combine my haiku with a small moment for Tuesday’s slice of writing post.
I was inspired as I listened to the giggles of these two grand-babies as they tried unsuccessfully to catch the falling leaves. Oh to have such joy at the simple things in life!

It’s Tuesday and I’m joining the wonderful writing community at Two Writing Teachers today and every Tuesday. Take a peek and consider joining along.
I never thought about writing a haiku a day…I love this idea and am going to give it a whirl for the rest of this month…gratikus! i love that! 🙂
its been fun and a great way to add gratefulness to my day. Check out #gratiku
Well, the care is in the catch! I love the way your words blend with the photograph. Someday, this will be a cherished post.
Thank you Melanie. I think it already is. I look at the words and pix and breathe softly. It also recalls moments of joy as a child doing the same thing.
The joy of catching leaves is fabulous. Wonderful #gratiku.
Brings back happy memories of childhood
