Thank you Barbara – it came into my head as I was driving home from work and I started to wonder how I could play with the format of the words. Took some time but it was a learning experience that I’d like to try more of… it appeals to my artistic side
Whoa! I read your post and thought–oh! That feels like my post today. And then I saw that we chose the same OLW this year–Pause! We are obviously on similar journeys!
I love your repeating word art! This is a most chaotic time of year and yet…your OLW puts everything into perspective. I will borrow your word as we close out another school year. I want to pause to celebrate all of the good this year and to reflect on areas that need new approaches. Happy summer!
What? You’re not going to get into that lake and create some whirlpools??? I love the intention of your OLW to slow you down and remind you to live in a more peaceful way. The graphic in your poem is great too!
I just love this visual post. It’s succinct yet pithy. I hope you’ll attempt other similar formats because you’re so good at this!

Go for it!

I must read! Heading there as we speak.

The end-of-year chaos is the perfect time for your OLW. Thanks for the beautiful image of water at the end, for all of us to pause and enjoy!
Pause – midstream –
the lake beckons
us into
calm.
— Kevin, sending a poem back on the ripples of your lake. Good connection back to One Little Word.
